Adiss can manufacture compact WWTP integrating any of the tested wastewater treatment technologies
Mechanical stage
Its purpose is to collect and degrease wastewater from the sewage network, involving the mechanical separation of impurities through screening, sand removal, fat separation, and primary settling.
The biological stage
It encompasses all elements through which the reduction of biodegradable organic substances, phosphorus, and nitrogen occurs, in the presence of recirculated sludge and artificially introduced oxygen into the process. Organic substances serve as food for mineralizing bacteria, and recirculated sludge contains live cellular material. These processes take place in biological basins, using classical purification technologies (simultaneous or intermittent nitrification-denitrification), SBR, RBC, or MBR. FBR and MBBR technologies rely on fixed microorganisms that settle on contact surfaces provided by fixed or mobile biofilters. Biomass retention and the separation of activated sludge from treated water are performed in lamellar secondary settlers, highly efficient. Biological reactors are in the form of containers or circular basins.
Tertiary step
It includes the disinfection of water with ultraviolet rays, ozone, chlorine or by filtration with ultrafiltration membranes.
The technology embedded in the Adiss compact stations is intended for the advanced treatment of domestic wastewater for 200 to 6,000 equivalent inhabitants. In particular cases, the stations can be expanded to serve up to 12,000 inhabitants. The modular design allows their operation starting from a low flow to the maximum flow for which they were designed, which significantly reduces operating costs.
Adiss solves customer problems through solutions based on technological competence and vertical integration of a full set of specializations, from design to commissioning. The solution ensures the quality parameters established by the European standards provided for in the Directive of the Council of the European Union No. 91/271/EEC β 21.05.1991 and in Romania by HG 188/20.03.2002 amended and supplemented by HG 352/11.05.2005 according to NP 133/2013.

Sludge treatment
It involves the processing of primary and excess sludge resulting from the purification process, to be stored in accordance with current regulations or used in agriculture. In compact plants, we use mechanical dewatering plants with screw presses, bag filters or other suitable equipment.
Production
Biological modules, thermally insulated equipment modules and all elements that come into contact with water are made of stainless steel. The pumps, mixers and blowers that make up our stations are produced by globally recognized companies.
Automation
The automatic control of the treatment plant is done through a unitary automation system that ensures the automatic operation of the treatment plant and can be monitored through the SCADA system.
